Semen Delivery Services
We can freight semen around Australia using our vapour shippers.
We use TNT freight service and our freight charges are at cost.
Despatch, Liquid Nitrogen and Shipper hire is $60.00 plus GST.
Cattle Pregnancy Testing
We offer cattle pregnancy testing services via blood draw. Blood samples are then sent to Pregtest Australia. Results given in 1 week, based on Pregtest Australia timelines.
Cattle A.I Services
Cattle Artificial Insemination service from 1 cow to 100 plus cows. LOW COST – two programs available, natural heat or a synchronisation program.
Advantages of Using A.I. – the ability to use top genetics from around the world with the advantage of selecting calving ease sires, correcting type deficiencies and improving traits. An advantage also in cost, disease control, ability to crossbreed and improve herd management. YOU TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR BREEDING PROGRAM!
NATURAL HEAT DETECTION – This program should be used for small herd numbers.
SYNCHRONISATION PROGRAM – this program is a little more expensive (approx $35 per head) but offers the ability for all cows to come onto heat at the one time. A program we use with good results is the Cidr/Cue-Mate, PG & Ciderol program.
Cue-Mates and Cidrs are progesterone delivery devices for cows and heifers
Day 0 – insert Cue-mate/Cidr and inject with 2ml Ciderol
Day 8 – remove Cue-mate/Cidr and inject with 2ml Prostaglandin
Day 9 – Inject with 1ml Ciderol and apply heat detector
Day 10 – Inseminate
Conception rate for A.I. is on overage 60 – 70% – follow up A.I. may be necessary or a follow up bull used.

We offer a Liquid Nitrogen Delivery Service to Farmers’ Veterinary Practices and Medical Practices in the Hunter and Central Coast region.
Tank Hire – both large tanks for freeze branding and shipper tanks for semen delivery are available for hire.
We can source and dispatch all your semen requirements – along with long and short term storage. Embryo Storage also available.

We offer a full range of Liquid Nitrogen Containers manufactured by Chengdu Golden Phoenix – a divisionn of Chart Industries (mother company to MVE). We have trialed these units over the last 5 months and found them to be working efficiently. We can offer the full range of units from dry shippers to large storage tanks at very competitive prices. Each unit comes with its own protective bag.
YDH-3HL Vapour/ Dry Shipper – a 3.5L unit – with 25 days static holding time – Retail – $1050 plus GST . Protective travelling case is $500 plus GST if required.
YDS-20 – your farmer model storage tank – 20L, 6 canisters (double storage) – 2832 straw holding capacity. 202 day static holding time – Retail $1100 plus GST.

Bull Fertility Testing
We offer Bull Fertility Testing on your farm. Testing of your bulls each season before breeding is highly recommended.
Just because he performed last year does not mean he is fertile this season.
Bull Fertility Testing is also highly recommended before sale. Professional semen testing will be carried out on your bull – motility and percentage live will be measured and a Certificate issued.
How this Process is Carried Out – semen sample is performed by electroejucation – a mild electrical stimulation.
Facilities Required – the ability to restrain bull in a crush/lead up race (head restraint not essential).
